Three of us shot and processed images of public school scenes to illustrate promotional materials for the Summer Leadership Conference (SLC).
The SLC is a collection of short schools and orientations for teachers that aspire to supervisory positions. They are scattered throughout the summer months at our GCPS offices. I had the opportunity to shoot with a 7D body and an f/1.8 50mm lens. My gear is Nikon and this was a good occasion to work with Canon.
Using a supplied shot list, our job was to get stills in an everyday school setting that symbolize these action verbs:

Week 8
My work this week continued to be editing and reviewing photos for the SLC promotional materials, and planning a project that promotes benchmarks for assessing progress in the CRCT program. I also shot the participants of the Quality plus Leadership Alliance (QPLA) and a few individual head shots.
QPLA is a recurring staff development conference for assistant principals, guidance councilors and other administrators on tract to become principals. This was a group of 36. The pictures were interesting but the benchmark project was not.
